WHAT TO DO WHEN
THE OUTDOOR WARNING SIRENS ARE ACTIVATED
A three minute blast of the
siren indicates that a tornado warning is in effect and you should take shelter
in the interior room of the lowest floor of the building. For citizens seeking shelter outside their home, please contact your local municipality for more information. THERE IS NO SIREN INDICATING "ALL CLEAR." Additional blasts
of the siren indicate the threat is still immanent
A reminder that the outdoor
warning siren is tested on the first Saturday of every month from March - September
at noon, and also during national storm safety awareness week in April.
